Roger Litman, spoke regarding a project that he is involved with. It is a way to elevate over heating problems with steam systems. The basics use an insulated box installed around a radiator or convector with a fan, built into the box, interconnected to a thermostat. Roger will let us how the project progresses.
Our speaker for the evening was a Michelle Wilson, who is a Vice President, with ServicEdge. Michelle has most recently worked with National on their new website and has helped with the Chapter’s own website. ServicEdge does not just do websites. They help oil companies diversify to other services such as gas and air conditioning, offering service contracts for heating and cooling that includes gas. Monthly billing of service plans vs. annual billing. She spoke with regards to pros and cons of discounts vs. parts coverage of service plans. Michelle has many excellent ideas to make our service departments more profitable.
